HomeLand Security Solutions, LLC is led by Major General, USAF (ret), Mark Volcheff, a seasoned professional with military, state government, commercial and non-profit experience. The company serves as a multi-dimensional focal point to provide stakeholders, who have interests in homeland security and homeland defense, the means and resources to more easily enter these markets.

Mr. Volcheff has spent his entire career in defense and security related endeavors. He has had successful careers as a senior Air Force officer to include commanding the giant Ramstein Air Base Germany during the 9/11 attacks in the U.S. as well as serving as Headquarters Air Mobility Command’s Director of Operations and NORAD and US Northern Command’s Director of Plans, Policy, Strategy and International Matters. He served in the Office of the Governor, State of Colorado, as the Assistant for Federal Matters to the state homeland security coordinator where he was the focal point for Federal and DOD collaboration for state planning and response, and he also assisted writing the Colorado Homeland Security Strategy.

In addition to his government positions and leading HomeLand Security Solutions, Mr Volcheff serves as Executive Director, Colorado Homeland Defense Alliance, a non-profit that is the focal point for development and collaboration between all government, industry, university and trade associations with a presence in Colorado and whom are serving national security needs.

Mr Volcheff has led HomeLand Security Solutions, LLC since its inception in June 2007.
